Keel is a UK-focused editorial site that reviews online casinos and sportsbooks holding a current UK Gambling Commission remote licence. We are not an operator. We do not take wagers, hold customer funds, or run gambling games. We write reviews, link to licence records, and point readers at the support resources that exist when gambling becomes a problem.
Who we are
The site is run by an editorial team based in London. We're not employed by, owned by, or affiliated with any of the operators we review. Where we earn a referral fee from a tracked link, that is disclosed in our terms — and it does not change which operators we list or how we describe them.
What we cover
Five UKGC-licensed operators on this edition: Pub Casino, Midnite, MrQ, LeoVegas, and BetMGM. Each has a review page covering the licence record, the legal entity, the published terms, and a verification route via the public register. We expand the list when we have time to do the work properly — we'd rather cover five operators well than fifty operators superficially.
How we review
Five steps, in order:
- Confirm the operator holds a current UKGC remote licence — we open the public register and read the entry
- Identify the legal entity that holds the licence and check it against the brand on the front page
- Read the published bonus terms in full, not just the headline offer
- Check the payment, withdrawal, and KYC pathway is documented
- Confirm the responsible-gambling tooling is reachable and that GAMSTOP is implemented
What this approach does not do is rank operators numerically. We don't publish star ratings or score-out-of-ten figures. The differences between licensed operators are usually a matter of fit, not quality, and a numerical score tends to flatten that. Read the review.
Editorial independence
