Privacy policy
This policy describes what data Keel collects, how it is used, and the choices a visitor has. We are an editorial publication and not a gambling operator — we do not collect financial information, account credentials, or any data tied to wagering.

What we collect
The principles applied to data collection on this site are deliberately conservative — only what is needed for the editorial product to function and for basic anonymised audience measurement, with nothing collected that ties back to a wagering account, a financial credential or an operator session. Two categories of data are collected when you use this site:
- Standard server logs — IP address (truncated where possible), user agent, referring page, and request URL. These are used to operate the site and to detect abuse
- Cookie-based analytics — anonymous statistics about how the site is used, set only after you accept the cookie banner
We do not collect a name, email address, or contact detail unless you submit one to us through the contact form or by email.
Cookies
On first visit, you'll see a cookie banner. Clicking Decline means we set only the strictly necessary cookies required to remember your choice and keep the site working. Clicking Accept All additionally enables anonymous analytics cookies.
Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key whr_cookies. Clear your browser data to reset the choice.
Affiliate links
Outbound links to operators carry a tracking parameter. When you follow one of these links, the operator records that the visit came from Keel. The tracking parameter does not contain any personal information about you. If you sign up with the operator and gamble with real money, the operator may pay Keel a referral fee.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We may share data with analytics service providers under standard data-processing agreements, and with law enforcement if required by a court order. We do not share data with operators.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Write to desk@keelguide.co.uk with your request. We respond within one calendar month.
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed the site, please contact us.
Updates
When we update this policy, we change the date at the top. Material changes are flagged on the home page for at least seven days.
